Faculty Advisor Selection Form

All first year students are required to complete the Faculty Advisor Selection Form in order to have a faculty mentor approved for them. Students must select three different advisors on the form as it is not guaranteed that you will get your first choice. The Graduate Committee will convene in December to determine selections with notifications sent before the end of December.

Advancement to Candidacy

In normal time to degree progress, students advance to candidacy prior to the start of their third year. Please see the informational guides below for additional information.
