Water Quality research is focused on the quality of water in natural and engineered systems ranging from micro to macro scales. Areas of research include bacterial adhesion and transport in groundwater environments, novel methods for water and wastewater treatment, soil and groundwater remediation processes, hazardous waste treatment, environmental biotechnology, and modeling.
