David Cocker exemplifies the remarkable trajectory of UC Riverside graduates. After earning his undergraduate degree at UCR, Dr. Cocker pursued his Ph.D. at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), where he honed his expertise in air quality and environmental engineering. Following his doctoral studies, Dr. Cocker returned to UC Riverside as a faculty member in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. Through his dedication to research, teaching, and leadership, he has made significant contributions to advancing air quality science and engineering education. Today, Dr. Cocker serves as Chair of the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at UCR, guiding the department toward innovation and excellence.
